Zoe Card Workshop

I know it has been a while since my last blog.  I have been crazy busy with life.  It seems like we are always on the go; here and there with Hayley's volleyball life.  The start of the season always has us traveling to tournaments. 

 

I was able to squeeze in some craft time in between all of the games and tournaments.  I have spent many late nights in my craft room creating card and layout workshops.  I recently hosted a fun card workshop using CTMH's newest paper Zoe and Animal Greetings stamp set.

I really love this new paper from CTMH.  It is so fun and very versatile.  It really is perfect for so many occasions from a day at the pool, birthdays, and any of your summer fun pictures.  All of the papers complement each other nicely along with all of CTMH's embellishments.

Varsity - Volleyball

My volleyball player, Hayley, keeps us busy.  She has already had her club tryouts for her new traveling team TCA and made Varsity for Ellison High School.  We are proud of her!

I really love watching these girls play and hopefully we will have a lot of wins this year.  I am super excited, but also sad that this will be her last year.  I can't believe that Hayley is a Senior now.  Time sure has flown by.  Where did the time go?!

Buddies!

I decided to do a BIG run to Sam's to get us started for the season.  I had my friends trucked packed inside and out with goodies for the concessions stand.  Glad this is my last year for booster.  I sometimes think it is a full-time job! lol

 I have been hard at work in my craft room getting goodies ready for the Varsity team. My awesome friend Michele created this beautiful door swag for their locker room. 

 I made these name plates using my Cricut Explore and vinyl for their names. 

Cutting vinyl out on my Explore wasn't too hard once I figured out the sizes I needed.  Weeding the glitter vinyl took some time and tested my patience, but I got through all of them with vinyl to spare.  I love how their bag tags turned out.

Well that is it for now.  I am pooped!  I just finished up their water bottles for their first home game! 

 

I just ordered chunky bubble gum beads and will be making bracelets this weekend.  Never a dull moment in my house.  I will post pictures once I get done with them.

Close to my Heart Convention 2015

I know I haven't posted much artwork lately.  I have been deep in my craft preparing for all of the fun to be had at convention this year.

I decided to enter the CTMH Layout Contest and be apart of the Consultant Showcase at CTMH's Convention in Anaheim, CA at the Disneyland Hotel.   

What is Consultant Showcase you ask?  That is a fun night where consultants get to show off their artwort and share tips and techniques that can be passed onto our cutomers like you.  It is really fun to see everyone's artwork and learn from other consultants. 

Unfortunately, I can't post any pictures of what I have been working on until after convention.  I promise to share all of the fun with you when I get back.  I can't wait to hang out with all of my Close to my Heart friends and see all of the brand new product that will be released September.

Convention starts Wednesday with Leadership Day followed by a fun night playing Bunco with our team.  I am so excited!

 Saturday I get to run through both Disneyland and California with all of my fellow CTMH consultants to raise money for CTMH's Operation Smile.  I will have a fun outfit on that I will share pictures with you as well.  It will make you laugh for sure!!



I know a lot of you are traveling the world enjoying your summers.  I will be traveling to Colorado in a week to visit family and get away for a bit and then I am off to California to be with my Scrap Besties.

Remember to take lots of picture of you and your family.  Celebrate those special moments.  When you get back we will get those beautiful photos in an album and share our stories while reliving those fun memories.

Chalk It Up Card

I have a couple of graduations coming up this weekend.  I think I might use some Chalk It Up paper and make some grad cards.  Time sure does fly for kids.  Mine will be graduating next year.  Crazy!

So here is a fun card I made using CTMH's Chalk It Up.  This would make a great card for a teenager.  Maybe my daughter can give them to her friends.

I love how the teal shimmer trim sparkles on my card.  Fun and easy to make.
