Well this is a first for me. I thought it would be fun to feature some of my customers/friends artwork on my blog.
My first Featured Artist is my newest customer Angela. I met her at work and next thing you know we are colaborating on all sorts of craft projects at work and at home. I introduced her to the joy of scrapbooking and she hosted her first CTMH party with me a few months ago. Angela loves all of her new products and has dived into starting her first scrapbook.
Her first project she used a great shadow box she picked up at a yard sale for just $10! What a deal for her. She used her new CTMH Lollydoodle Workshop on the go to create a beautiful shadow box of her daughters birth.
Angela used several techniques she learned at a card workshop at my home like the rosettes that she created using the CTMH quilling tool along with the CTMH Cricut Artiste cartridge. She also used her CTMH Cricut Artbooking cartridge to add dimension to her shadow box with the pretty overlays. Look how great the new CTMH Flamingo dots look on her project along with the pretty pink shimmer paper.
I hope this showed you another great way to feature memorabila along with great photos in a different way. This shadow box looks really great in her hallway. What a wonder keepsake she has created for her daughter.
Check back later. I will feature more artwork soon.
Till then Happy Scrappin`,

More Blog Hopping Fun
I am having so much fun with the new, beautiful paper packs from the Spring/Summer 2014 CTMH Idea Book. I can't decide which paper pack I like the best. I guess it is the one I am currently using.
Last Spring my parents welcomed Centenario; their newest colt. He is such a ham. He really wanted to meet us and wasn't shy. His mother Duequesa is always a lovey dovey horse as well. They both got up close and personal with me. Duquesa is always wanting to smell and see my camera. My dad always has a huge smile on face and loves the interaction with their horses. You would think I am a horse woman looking at the pictures. Just a regular city girl hanging out and mom & dad's ranch.
Below are the flowers I have stamped and fancy cut for my layout as well as the ones I have cut using my Cricut cartridges. They are inked and ready to be added to my wonderful layout. Just need to find some time in my craft room to finish this layout up.

Here is the start of my layout. I haven't added in all of the bling, which is the fun part to me. As you can see I left some space to journal on the left page at the top. This is one of my favorite layouts, for now. I incorporated Ivy Lane workshop on the go, compliments, embellishments, and of course stamping.
Pictures got deleted working on getting them re-posted. Thanks for your patience! :o)

It doesn't seem like I can do a layout now without using our wonderful flip flaps. Here is my layout with the flip flap open. It looks like a completely different layout! I love how I am able to incorporate more photos on my layout. Without the extra space I wouldn't be able to showcase all of the wonderful photos that capture the memories of that moment. I promise once you start using flip flaps you will wonder how you managed without them.

Blog Hop Fun
Welcome to another fun blog hop featuring new product from Close to my Heart's new 2014 Spring/Summer Idea Book. While visiting my parents recently we took some family pictures. I can't believe how fast Hayley is growing up. She is becoming quite the young lady.
At my last crop I was able to work on this wonderful layout with my new pictures. I really love the new Skylark paper pack and how it works with the pictures I took of Hayley. I also love the fun embellishments that come with this Workshop on the Go.

As most of you know I love taking photos. I always take a lot of photos. Hayley is such a good model for me. She knows that if she doesn't pose right it will be in the scrapbook looking like that. She knows her mother, lol.
Anyways, I was able to add the additional photos by using one of CTMH's flip flaps. Here I used a 6X12 one.

I really love how easy it is to add embellishments to my layouts by using the Skylark Compliments and some bling.

Look how beautiful the new Teal Shimmer Trim is, gorgegous! You really have to see it to appreciate how pretty it is. It has several colors mixed in like a peacock. So pretty. One of my favorite parts about using our shimmer trim is the glitter stays in place, not all over your fingers and face!

Well I hope my layout gave you some inspiration for your artwork.
Please check out all of the other great artwork on this blog hop and have fun in your craft space!
Till next time,
Happy Scrapbooking!

Skylark Layout - Album Retreat
Hello again Blog Hoppers! I am having so much fun with the papers and embellishments from the new CTMH 2014 Spring/Summer Idea Book that I wanted to share with you this layout that I did using the new Skylark Workshop on the Go. I used a layout from the Make it From the Heart Volume 2 Patterns book as inspiration for this layout. I used CTMH's Cricut Artbooking cartridge to create the circles overlay on both pages. I also used the cartridge along with Cricut Craftroom (CCR) to weld the letters together for this layout.
I used my photos from the Fall Album Retreat that was hosted by CTMH. As a consultant we get a lot of great perks. I was fortunate enought to goto both scrap retreats. I look forward to going to anything I can that is CTMH. Thanks to my hubby for the awesome birthday treat! ;o)
I really like how the colors from the Skylark paper brings out the colors of my photos. When I first saw this paper I thought Spring & Summer - flowers, beach, etc. But I really think my fall photos 'pop' on this paper packet. I also used the fabulous CTMH flip flaps to add a couple of extra photos to my layout as you can see above. We have a wide variety of flip flaps to accomodate your needs.
Please make sure to check out everyone on the Blog Hop. There is a lot of great inspiration that is sure to get your mojo fired up to create your own beautiful artwork.
Till next time - happy scrapping.

Spring/Summer February Blog Hop
Here are some cards I created for a workshop that I hosted last month. The first two cards I used our new Skylark paper pack along with Petit Perks stamp set. Super cute and easy to make. Notice the beautiful new Teal Shimmer Trim! Even prettier in person. There is also a new Purple Shimmer Trim that is great as well.
The card below I used the new Ariana paper pack. I made the pretty roses/flowers using CTMH Cricut Art Philosphy and a quilling pen. Super easy and such a pretty way to embellish a card. This would make a great card for Mother's Day, which is just around the corner!
The below card uses our new Ivy Lane paper along with the stamp set from the Ivy Lane WOTG card kit.
I am currently using this paper pack to do a layout with flip flaps. I will be posting that soon I hope. Gotta finish up the embellishments and add the flip flap and then I can share it with you.
I hope this gave you some inspiration to make some cards and show you how easy it is to make simple cards that you can share with your friends and family.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about how these cards are made or if you are interested in getting some of these products to make your very own beautiful creations.
Don't forget to check out the rest of the ladies who have posted their creations on this blog. There is some really great stuff.
Happy Scrapping till next time!
