White Pines Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin' Buds Blog Hop for November featuring Close to my Heart's White Pines paper.   You just left Leesa Bartu's Blog and landed here on the TexasScrapbookingQueen's blog!  I love her wreath.  Now to find time to make myself one.
Welcome!  I hope you find inspiration for your holiday pictures.  Take a look and see.  Please leave a comment at the bottom.  I would love to hear from you.
I am excited to share with you this great layout that I created using CTMH's newest Christmas themed paper, White Pines. This lovely paper is perfect for all of your winter and Christmas happenings for the upcoming season or maybe some of those pictures from the past holidays sitting in a box.  Grab them and get them in your scrapbook to enjoy with your family and friends every holiday!
Sorry, my picture has so much glare.  Above you will see the left side of my layout with the flip flaps up.  I love how I can always add extra photos to my layout with ease using CTMH's flip flaps.  Super easy and fun to do.  Just add your extra photos to the flip flap, pull off the protective adhesive strip and place directly onto your page protector.  By doing this I was able to add 6 additional pictures to my layout.
Above is a close up of the right side of my layout.  I wanted you to see that I used CTMH's 3D foam tape to pop-up my holly that I placed on my wreath.  Along with the White Pines assortment and Red Enamel Gems my page has a lot of dimension.
My page came together pretty easy!  Yes, it looks detailed, but you can re-create this layout in a snap!
I used Kraft paper as my base and as my photo mat.

Now time to get your Cricut out.  I used CTMH's new Cricut cartridge, Artisty for all of my cuts.
Wreath (Fern) - 10 1/2
Berries (Cranberry) - 3/4"
Holly (Colonial White)
'In the Air There's a Feeling of Christmas' (Colonial White, mat cut 1/2 bigger w/ Cranberry)- use the dimension from the stamp set

Just throw some paper on the mat, push a couple of buttons, hit cut and your layout really does come together. After I did all of my Cricut cuts it was time to assemble.

I stamped the pine leaves and cones for added dimension/overlapping onto Colonial White cardstock cut at 11X11.   Add that to your 12X12 Kraft cardstock.

Add your picture that you have matted with Kraft cardstock, not quite in the middle of your layout, just off to the right a bit.  Layer your wreath over your picture, stamped pine leaves and cones.   I used CTMH's Bonding Memories Glue Pen.   What holiday wreath doesn't have red berries?  Add your berries, again the glue pen works perfect.

Stamp your holly and 'Feeling of Christmas' using the Fern stamp pad.  Mat your stamp 'Feeling of Christmas' with the cranberry cardstock.  Add both using 3D foam tape for extra dimension.

Now all you have to do is add red enamel gems and some bling from the White Pines assortment.
