Avonlea

So for our Christmas break this year we decided to try Colorado when there was snow on the ground!  We now have a new definition of COLD.  Waking up in the morning to a sweltering -7 is pretty darn cold if you ask me!  We had a lot of fun playing in the snow.  Of course you know I took a lot of photos.  I love how the Avonlea paper pack from Close to my Heart paper pack compliment the pictures I took.

Of course you know how I love to use CTMH flip flaps.  They are probably my #1 favorite thing to use when I scrapbook.  Below is the right side of my layout 'opened' using a 8X12 flip flap.  Using this technique allowed me to add 5 additional photos to my layout.

I am working on taking better pictures.  Hopefully my next batch will be better. ;-)

Texas Blue Bonnets

I just love this time of year.  Everywhere you look there are flowers.  Vivid yellows, blue, sprinkled with some reds here and there.

What a great weekend!  We were blessed to have beautiful 80 degree weather all weekend.  The sun was shinning and after all of the rain we got all of the beautiful Texas Wildflowers out everywhere.  

We found a great spot that had a big field of Blue Bonnets everywhere.  We got some great family photos of us sitting in the flowers. 

Can't wait to scrap book these photos.  I plan using some of them for my CTMH Dallas Convention contest entry!  Cross your fingers for me.
