Holiday from the Heart Blog Hop
Welcome to the Holiday from the Heart Blog Hop! On this bog hop you will get the chance to see many creative designs using CTMH's new Sparkle & Shine paper as well as a variety of other items from the Holiday from the Heart mini Idea Book. To get your copy of this great mini please contact me.
I used a combination of bling, embellishments, and of course stamping to create these fun layouts!
Although you can't see it, I of course had to add flip flaps. I used some of the baby flip flaps, 3X3, on the right side to add some additional photos of us opening our Xmas gifts.
I used a combination of embellishments that include sparkly buttouns, flowers, bling, and shinny washi tape that you can get from our new Mini Idea Book. I hope you had fun and got some inspiration from my artwork. Till next time Happy Scrapbooking and enjoy your day!

Sarita Fun
Well it has been a while since I have been able to work on my scrapbookprojects, but I was finally able to get some time in on the long Labor Day Weekend.
I used the new Close To My Heart Sarita paper packet on this layout for Hayley's 15th Birthday party. We had a small party for her birthday at the house with some of her friends and of course our family and good friends came to celebrate with us.
Well, as most of you know I like a lot of pictures and I always have a hard time deciding which ones to keep. Close to my Heart's fabulous flip flaps affords me many opportunities to include all of my photos.
On this layout I used the True Fit Folio to add my extra photos. I turned the Folio upside down to create a 12X12 flap. Then all I had to do was insert the Folio into my page protector. To cover/protect my Folio flap I cut the left side of my Page Protector (the hole side) and slide the page protector onto my flap! Voilla!
I used a lot of bling to include Sarita embelishments in combination with the 'zip strips' from the tops of the sheets of paper in the packet to complete my layouts. The 'Happy Birthday' & 'Make A Wish' are some images from the new Artbooking Cricut Cartridge that I used to embellish my page as well.
Here is a close up of the fabric flowers I made using the Sarita Textiles from Close To My Heart. I also used some of the new Base and Bling to add deminsion to the flowers. The flowers were very easy to make and added a fun embellishment to this great layout.
Till next time,
Happy Scrapping,
Lori

Volleyball
Well as most of you know I am a volleyball mom. I have stayed busy during the summer being a volleyball booster mom along with everything else I try to do. Sometimes I think I work harder as a booster mom then I do at my normal job!
Well the girls have started their season with a bang! They have worked hard all summer with conditioning and camps and it has already payed off. Their first game against Temple they WON!
Here is Hayley and Chayene goofing off after their win! They get so silly and goofy after their games. It is fun to watch them clown around together. They work hard and play hard!!!
This passed weekend the girls played in their first 2 day tournament with great sucess. The last couple of games were nail biters, but they pulled through and beat Lago Vista. They won the KISD JV Championship! I was really impressed with how well the girls played, communicated on the court and didn't give up on themselves. Huge improvement from last year. Great job ladies. All of this volleyball has cut into my crafting time, but I always find time to get some crafting in. This Wednesday is the BIG locker room reveal. I can't wait for the JV & Varsity girls to see all of the hard work Chris (booster mom) and I have done in the locker room for them. I have of course added craftiness by making a cool window insert for their door and cute picture frames for their lockers. I will share pictures after the reveal.

Dream Pop Magic
Life has just been super busy and we are always on the go!
I did however get a chance to play with the CTMH May National Scrapbooking Month Promotion, Dream Pop!
You know how I love to use Flip Flaps to add those extra photos. Here is the same layout, but w/ the flap open.

This paper pack is great for all of your Spring/Summer pictures, carnival, circus, fiestas, amusement parks, birthday parties and so much more. Make sure you get a pack or two before the end of May. You will have a lot of fun creating beautiful layouts and cards with Dream Pop!

Claire - Cheer
Hello Everyone~
I love how cute Hayley looked as the mascot for her middle school. The mascot before had colored the mane to be blue! Hayley worked hard to clean that stuff off and added a cute, blue bow by the lion's ear to indicate that it was now a girl lion. She is so silly. Steve and I had fun putting the head on while dancing in the living room.
Here is a close up of the layouts the flowers I used to decorate both of the pages. I used the new Girls Rock. I was able to use my Cricut to cut out all of the flowers and leaves used on both sides. What a time saver it is to be able to use my Cricut to cut all of the embellishments for my layout.
Happy Scrapping

Claire - Dance
Double your delight today. I realized that my post weren't posting to my page. So I am catching up!
Well I love the Claire paper pack so much I decided to use it for Hayley's dance photos from middle school.
I used the Girls Rock flowers to decorate and embellish my layout with the ease of my Cricut cutting out all of my flowers and leaves. What a breeze it is!
I took my inspiration from the cover of our new Idea Book.
I am hoping I get some time in my scrapbook room to finish up some projects and work on some new lay outs.
Till next time....Happy Scrapping,
Lori

Avonlea
So for our Christmas break this year we decided to try Colorado when there was snow on the ground! We now have a new definition of COLD. Waking up in the morning to a sweltering -7 is pretty darn cold if you ask me! We had a lot of fun playing in the snow. Of course you know I took a lot of photos. I love how the Avonlea paper pack from Close to my Heart paper pack compliment the pictures I took.
Of course you know how I love to use CTMH flip flaps. They are probably my #1 favorite thing to use when I scrapbook. Below is the right side of my layout 'opened' using a 8X12 flip flap. Using this technique allowed me to add 5 additional photos to my layout.
I am working on taking better pictures. Hopefully my next batch will be better. ;-)
Here is a close-up of the beautiful embellishments I added to my layout to add a finishing touch to my layouts.
Till next time happy scrapping.
